Black women are apologizing to black men for believing the media’s lies.
After countless stories from the media trying to cause a rift in the black community, black women started to believe that black men were not going to support a black woman for president.After the election stats proved that black men supported Kamala Harris in large numbers.
Roughly 80% of black men voted for Harris.
Despite stories suggesting that Black voters wouldn’t support Harris, they turned out to vote. Despite widespread concerns about whether Black men would abandon the Democratic Party and vote in large numbers for…Donald Trump Election exit polls present a different narrative. Early exit polls from The Washington Post show that 78% of Black men voted for Kamala Harris The vice president’s figures were only one point lower than the number of votes Joe Biden received in 2020.
Numerous Black men felt compassion for the challenges faced by women in the post-Roe era and considered the women they cherished when casting their votes. Black men were the only male demographic that overwhelmingly voted for Kamala Harris. While other demographics of men which included Latino and white men thought a man accused of sexual assault would do a better job than a black woman.
Statistics show that black men voted with the majority of black women. Black men also saw their daughters, mothers, sisters, and nieces in Kamala Harris, and they believed she was more than qualified for the job.
